NAT/MO.B.284. CONFIDENTIAL. 24th March, 1938. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby. Dear Sirs, Re 1.B.50. We thank you for your letter of the 23rd instant and for your agreement to our painting this car black throughout with a fine white line on the moulding. We are glad to have your instructions to fit Overall type door locks and we will await your further advice as to the locks to be fitted to 2.B.5. As you have made no mention of the upholstery, which you will remember we suggested should be in brown hide, we are assuming that this has also met with your approval and we intend handing a pattern of the proposed leather and headcloth to Mr. Evernden tomorrow when we understand he is favouring us with a visit. Yours faithfully, for PARK WARD & CO. LTD.
