LONDON. N.W.10.

Dear Sirs,

1.B.50.

With reference to your letter of the 22nd March, we agree to 1.B.50 being painted black with a white line.

We were somewhat disappointed to see the condition of this car when we called at the Factory, but if you can keep your promise of May 6th, we shall be satisfied. We do not wish to be held responsible for delaying the car in any way, and, therefore, should be glad if you would go right ahead and fit Leveroll locks as on the Rover car to this first body. We have come to the conclusion that there are likely to be enough experimental features on this body already without complicating matters with a new type of lock.

In the case of the second Bentley body, however, we would ask you to hold up the decision of door locks until we can extract a firm delivery date from Messrs. Wilmot Breedon.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
