Petrol Filters on PhantomIII Chassis.

We thank you for your Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}2/MK.11.1.36, re the position of the petrol filter on the Phantom lll chassis. We understand that on the twelve advance chassis as well as the first 50 production chassis, the petrol filter will not be on the outside of the chassis frame, but on the second cross member of the chassis frame, as illustrated on the design which we sent to you some little while ago. It will therefore not be necessary for Coachbuilders to provide the hinged flap on the body edge plate as originally called for on our chassis prints.

Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}
