E.T.C. Ref. NO. WE60. X. 7655. Date 26-11-30. X.NOS. 7655 Sequence Starter main switch unit arranged to LEC.2804. We have now received and tested two units as above one fitted with copper contacts of 28 S.W.G and the other 26 S.W.G material. The switch with the thicker gauge laminated copper contact was considered to be the better of the two and has been fitted to R's chassis 27EX. The other switch is undergoing endurance test on the crankshaft starter rig in the lab. Both switches easily passed our existing standard production test with a considerable margin. To test whether the carbons on the main switch were now definitely making first when electrically operated one of the switches | ||
