FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to EFC. ORIGINAL 20HP. BATTERY. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M10.12.29. X4642 With reference to BY/MTN8/N281129.., we are investigating the carrying of the 20HP. battery in a metal box on the lines of P. 2. We are under the impression that if the battery were moulded in Dagenite the length would be such that we could get it out through the present aperture in the floor, while at the same time it was arranged in the conventional way as on P. 2., that is, all the cells transverse to the chassis. While we are doing this we should like to know whether any serious disadvantage has been found with the cells arranged as standard. EFC. perhaps could tell us whether any abnormal leakage has been noticed due to the 8 V.{VIENNA} that apparently may be between two adjacent cell terminals. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
