Magneto (ROI Watford) NO 68302
esc & Chassis GAK 77 Jackson
Owing to the fact that this magneto had been reported unsatisfactory when in a hot condition on the chassis, a further bench test has been carried out. This consisted of a low speed sparking test and an endurance run of 7 hrs at 2000 rpm; (in the advanced position 4 hrs and the retard 3 hrs) with the object of observing the H.T sparking. The results were almost exactly the same as when the magneto was previously tested (WA. {Mr Wallis} 102 - 9-1-25)
