ONE COVER FITS INSIDE ANOTHER.
LEAVING .250 CLEARANCE FOR WHICH FELT PACKING IS INSERTED BEFORE TACKING THE TWO FLANGES TOGETHER.
FELT PACKING.
THIS FLANGE FITS ALL THE WAY ROUND THE CYLINDER HEAD.
THE FLANGE ON THE ROCKER COVER HAS BEEN REMOVED SO THAT THE NEW FLANGE FOR THE OUTER COVER MAY BE BOLTED FLUSH WITH THE SIDE OF THE CYLINDER HEAD.
