X.4079- IGNITION COIL IMPREGNATED WITH PARAFFIN WAX

We are handing you herewith an ignition coil, the performance of which has been improved by impregnating the windings with paraffin wax, and we would like you to have this fitted in a case for trial on the experimental Goshawk cars.

The object of the experiment is to see whether paraffin wax impregnation leads to any difficulty as regards melting of the wax due to heat, the electrical performance of the coil being known to be improved by this method of insulation.

EFC.
