Test results for a paraffin wax-impregnated Goshawk winding coil, comparing performance before and after treatment.

This coil which is made up with a production Goshawk winding, and a core of thick wires, has now been tested after being impregnated with paraffin wax. In the first instance better results were obtained from this coil, than from the average production Goshawk coil, which, apparently, were due to the coarser core. Better results still are now obtained, the coil, as far as sparking is concerned, now being up to our standard.
