OBJECT OF TEST.
To find degree of ignition advance required on EAC.

CONDITIONS.
EAC. engine on test bench. In order to read off the exact point of ignition, the engine was run on 5 cylinders, the plug wires from one cylinder being taken to a pointer and disc marked off in degrees at the front end of Crankshaft. This same means was employed to ensure both ignitions were correctly synchronized at all speeds.
SUMMARY OF TEST.
The tests show that there is a slight improvement firing both plugs on EAC. with synchronized ignitions. We could not prove that when running with free exhaust we could run with less advance.
