23rd March, 1938.

C.L. Breeden, Esq.,
Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden Ltd.,
Eastern Works,
Camden Street,
BIRMINGHAM. 1.

Dear Mr. Breeden,

Further to our telephone conversation to-day, this is to confirm that if you will send your Chauffeur to Derby at about 5.30.p.m. to-morrow, we will have an experimental 4¼-litre Bentley ready for him which we will loan you.

Like most of our experimental cars, it has been severely mal-treated, and, therefore, we would ask you to refrain from criticising it too severely.

The car is not insured whilst it is being driven by people other than those in the employment of the Company, and would, therefore, ask you to transfer the insurance from your own car to it for the time being.

We hope to let you keep the car until yours is ready, but if for any reason we find it imperative to have it back before the end of next week we will let you know.

Thank you for expediting the locks.

Yours sincerely,

P.S. The Reg. No. of B.56.BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} is BLA-211, Black Saloon.
