HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} ORIGINAL R3/M24.4.28. INDIA 3. re. LeC. 2546. X5000 X5010 We do not anticipate any great change in the crankchamber, so that duralumin caps and studs for bearings and cylinder block should be adopted at once. Regarding lubrication, 3 holes into crankshaft seem good- i.e. 120°, and use the bottom hole as shewn, or carry a groove around until sufficiently steady pressure into the crankshaft.
