Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} at W. HEATERS. X4300. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}/Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}16/EDI/23-1-31. On August 26th 1930 we received a letter from the Bush Service Corpn. Ltd. advising us that they had been asked to introduce the Tropic-Aire heater on this side. We asked for details and in due course received a further letter dated August 30th 1930 which we attach hereto. We were eventually promised an opportunity of seeing a sample heater and this morning we received the sample - or rather two - one being the Junior model and the other the Senior. Would you like us to send the ~~...~~ two samples along to you for examination? We know you have been considering the question of a suitable heater and whilst perhaps it is too much to expect that the Tropic-Aire could be considered suitable for our cars, it may be worth an examination, particularly if you had no opportunity of seeing one while you were in U.S.A. You will notice from the attached letter there is an electric motor which drives a fan to force air through the heater itself which is a minature radiator. We anticipate you may find the motor and fan to be noisy. ATT: Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} | ||
