To Rg.{Mr Rowledge} from F.{Mr Friese} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}, Bi., Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} & PY. X 4003 F.2/Av/D21.11.28. With reference to the new type of camshafts to be fitted to our engines for the Interceptor Competition. I saw Major Bulman yesterday and in discussing other matters he mentioned that he agreed that all the aircraft could have the new camshafts fitted, provided we would give him an assurance that all the machines would be alike and would not be delayed as regards their date of arrival at Martlesham. This is supposed to be December the 10th. F.{Mr Friese} R | ||
