I shall be glad of any information you can give me as to how the position of the petrol traps in the induction pipe of the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I was arrived at, that is to say, if you were asked to give your reasons for placing them in just the position they occupy, what would your answer be?

It would seem at first sight that the cylinders most likely to suffer from sudden influx of petrol would be those nearest the carburettor, and I shall be glad if you will let me have any information you are at liberty to give on this subject, not to be passed on to the public, but for my own benefit.

By the way, did you ever receive my letter written at sea with reference to high speed wobbles and front suspension of car, about which I wished to have your criticisms?
