To D/BP. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/KW.5.9.34. The Garage looking after Hall's Bentley in Ulster handed me the attached letter. One of their customers had actually smashed up his big Daimler and was a potential 20/25 HP. purchaser. The manager of O.D's was rather astounded by this letter; probably there is some explanation for not being able to provide them with a Catalogue, but I would like to tell him something about it because I left him with a certain amount of ill feeling towards the Company. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} In regard to the attached letter, unfortunately one of the holiday Staff who received the application was under the impression that a Spare Parts Catalogue was wanted and replied to the effect that we had not published one which, of course, is correct. I received a further letter from O.D. Cars on my return and on realising what had happened 'phoned Sales Dept. who undertook to send them the necessary Catalogues at once. This matter, therefore, has now been put in order. D/BP: For reply to O.D. Cars see x2677 | ||
