3/4/19.

The Directors are considering various schemes having for their objects the promotion of the general Welfare of Rolls-Royce Employees and closer and more cordial co-operation between the last named and the management.

In order to get out the statistics etc. in connection with these schemes it is important that certain information should be obtained in regard to each individual member of the staff.

Herewith are sent you a supply of printed Forms.

Will you please request every man, woman, boy and girl in your office to fill in the answer to each question which is printed on the Forms? Or, if desired, the forms can be filled in by you upon information obtained from the staff. Also please fill in a Form for yourself.

When completed the Forms should be tied up into bundles and returned to Mr. Greening at the office of the Labour Bureau, to reach him not later than the 10th May 1919. Your name should be written upon the outside of each bundle on the slip supplied for that purpose.

Any further information in connection with this memorandum can be obtained from Mr.Greening.

(Signed) p.p.John DeLooze,

Secretary.
J.D.

N.B. The filling in of the Forms is not compulsory but it is considered that it will be to the mutual benefit of the staff and the management that the questions should be answered as fully as possible.
