c. to Sft.{Mr Swift}

Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}10/M4/3/25.

I attach copy of a note I have received from Mr.Swift, which tells, so far as I am aware, what are the Works' difficulties in despatching chassis to London.

It includes some of the recent modifications that are fully instructed, and for which the Works take responsibility. There are other items yet which are either up to D.O., O.O., or possibly Design. You will also note Mr.Swift draws attention that there are a few items still required from the O.O. that are not included in this list, but they have had particulars of these items.

Some time ago I promised CJ. that we would start despatching chassis to Sales March 15th. and the object of this note is to round up the whole position, so that we may have a conference at the earliest possible moment, in order that I may give either an amended date for delivery of chassis to London, or so that I can inform Sales we can despatch to the original date.

Is it possible for you to investigate the final items on "V" series so that we may all meet in my office at 2 o'clock Friday? If it is impossible to meet on Friday I suggest 10-30.am. Monday, as an alternative date.

There may be other items that are going to be altered, and modifications made to "V" series, that Mr. Swift and myself are not aware of; these you should consider, possibly with Messrs Day and Elliott, so that we can arrive at a complete story.
