RE GOSHAWK 7 G II X4086 X4383

We wired you on Friday night, 4th inst., as follows:

"Have wired to London as follows: Send Airplane Instone Dynamo complete Goshawk. Wire me when how despatched. Parsons, Rollsroyce, Paris."

The collector segments of the Dynamo came adrift through heat no doubt. The writer examined the Dynamo and decided it would be dangerous to the Dynamo and Dynamo drive to run in the above condition. Therefore Major Northey completed the latter part of his journey without the Dynamo. The latter is being repaired at our Paris Dépôt.

The Goshawk arrived in Paris yesterday from Boulogne with our Mr. Thomas driving. It is noticed the bottom steering arm on the offside front Axle Pivot was very slack, bolts and bolt holes badly worn. We have no lever or bolts of that size to replace same, consequently the bolts have been turned round and retightened.

The Cross Steering tube has been readjusted. by us

The battery has been changed for the C.A.V. -Williard

In case you want to send us another steering arm and bolts will you please mention this memo in your covering advice as the writer will be away on holiday by the time same arrives.

Will Sales note we wired you as under:

"Send Airplane Instone Dynamo complete Goshawk. If you cannot telephone Works wire me when how despatched. Parsons, Rollsroyce, Paris."

Ps.
