Re WATER BOILING ON 40/50 H.P. and 20 H.P. CARS.

With reference to Experimental Report No. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG4.2.24, are you satisfied that the increase in size of the radiator on the 40/50 H.P. will be sufficient to overcome the water boiling on long hills and in hot weather? - or are other alterations being made in accordance with H's memorandum, R6/M10.8.23, such as :-

The size of fan being considerably increased.

Bonnet louvres or shutters.

Ventilated under-guards.

Gearbox under-sheet.

Whirl chamber to overcome water being thrown out and displacement of water by steam in the cylinders, etc.

If not, could any of these alterations be quickly adopted, as the matter is very important now that we are preparing to manufacture 14 chassis a week.
