X.4589. To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC. EFC6/T5.9.23. X.4589 - B.L.I.C. VOLTAGE REGULATOR. A short while ago we sent to the B.L.I.C. one of our Goshawk dynamos to which to adapt their electrolytic voltage regulator (see our EFC2/T9.6.23). We should be pleased if you would write and ask this Company as to whet progress they are making in the matter. The last we heard from them was on the 10th of July. This was a telephone message asking us to allow them to use, if they found it preferable, a softer grade of brushes than the Le Carbone 2, with which the dynamo was fitted. To this we agreed in our letter of the same date., at the same time sending them a set of L.F.C.3 Le Carbone brushes which we were able to spare. EFC. | ||
