Birkbys Ltd., LIVERSEDGE, YORKS. Dear Sirs, With reference to your quotation of the 31st Dec. last, reference as above, relating to Filler Caps to our blueprint Exs.348. We are definitely interested in the quotation in question, but in order to perfectly satisfy ourselves as to the strength of the material, would you please let us have a sample of each material, i.e. the plain moulding and the material incorporating fabric. If these samples could be somewhat approximate in size to the article shown on Drg.Exs.348 so much the better for our purpose. Further, if you have any similar shaped articles made in these materials, we should like to see samples. The parts to Drg.Exs.348 would require to be black and we presume that there would be no difficulty in producing them in this colour. Your early reply will oblige.
