9th. February 1938.

Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
Wolverhampton.

For the attention of Mr.A.W.Dunn.

Dear Sirs,

As discussed with you over the telephone, the writer will visit you on Monday next at 11 a.m. in order to go over your quotations for Bentley III radiator and part assemblies of same. Attached copy of memo (which please return) to our Estimating Department will indicate the exact units for which we wish you to quote. It will obviously be economic to include the shell with the shutter set or otherwise the shell would need to be forwarded to you for fitting up assembly. However, it might be advantageous if you could let us have the cost of the shell separately also (i.e. pieces EB.3510, EB.3587/8, EB.3611/2/3/4 and EB.3604/5)

We hope to be able to give you some information about the car heater we are testing, also we wish to discuss re-machining of reconditioned oil coolers since we observe that you are now delivering coolers which are not re-machined on the union faces. We are anxious to discuss with you designs of radiator grilles etc., and would like to bring back 24 shutter vanes if your new tools are now operating satisfactorily.

Other items which will require discussion were mentioned in our letter of the 5th. inst.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
