x5060 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 8/KT.2.9.33. In spite of the unprepossessing appearance of this self-adjusting tappet, I have heard that it will work. In view of the importance of the automatic tappet adjustment, we think it would be worth while running some on the 20/25. We have two of these cars running about in the Expl. Dept. and think it would be a good opportunity for testing anything like this. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
