CONDENSERS.
----------

Referring to the Condensers which have been supplied by the Dubilier Company, out of only a few that have been put on test 4 have failed. In view of this I wish Mr Brock to isolate all the Condensers we have received from the Dubilier Company, and retest same.

We should at once communicate with the Company in question, and point out that the work is anything but satisfactory, in view of the number of breakdowns, and state that we have had hardly more breakdowns than this over the whole of our output, and that we are seriously alarmed at the whole position.

The Works should not fit any more Dubilier Condensers and Mr Brock should change any which are on test at the moment, with the object of retesting same, and having the whole matter thoroughly thrashed out between ourselves and the Dubilier Company.

The original order of 1500 was cut down to 750, and unless something better can be provided we shall certainly have to cancel the remaining 750, as the position appears to me to be hopeless if it is going to be anything like the present failures indicate.
