Re: CHASSIS B.104.HK{Col. T. Harker - Sales} - Mrs. COATELEN
=================================

Please find below copy of a letter of the 22nd instant, which we have received from Mrs. Coatalen:

"GARDONE, Italy.
"
"Dear Mr. Sleator,
" Just a line to tell you that, so far, the Auto-
"strada have done no harm to the car - as yet!
" One thing, however, I want to note is that we have
"lost the nut that holds the joint in the oil filler
"cap, which naturally has disappeared into the crank-
"case. This is not my fault and may happen to any
"Bentley.
" Might I suggest that a small gauge wire mesh in
"the oil filler aperture would eliminate this risk
"and also prevent other "corps étrangers" falling in.
"Perhaps Derby might run to this expense.
" Hoping you are well and that business is flouri-
"shing, and with kind regards,
" Yours sincerely, Sgd. Iris COATELEN"

We have informed Mrs. Coatalen, who is very mechani-cally minded, that we would convey the contents of her letter to you, and we feel sure that this will give her great pleasure.

Sr/VA.
