-3- should be notified. A good fitting sorbo mat is important. PEDALS. We have not tried any scheme to prevent air leaks through the pedal holes, but we feel a scheme for doing so, when the clutch and brake pedals are up, would be an advantage. If further coolness is required the coachbuilder should fit a spinney ventilator, which opens forward from the top of the scuttle. In view of the present slow rate of production of P.2 cars, we have so far dealt with this matter with an idea of improving cars that are at present running on the road. We have so far avoided any detail tests which are necessary in order to improve chassis design, as we find reliable results will be difficult, and will take some considerable time to obtain. We are only able to get a single reliable figure after 8 laps on Brooklands. Figures obtained on the road are unreliable. Ha/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
