S/W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} C1/C24.1.35 CLUTCH TESTS ON THE 20/25 h.p. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/KW22.1.35 ------- We note that the car will be at Cricklewood on Friday morning available for clutch tests. Will you please let me know how long you will be leaving it. Of course, the short tests which presumably you are reckoning on by our various officials cannot really be very effective, as the only realy way of testing out the clutch from the point of view in question is by giving the car a substantial period of daily work in London traffic, when the clutch, of course, is used fifty times as much as it could be on any ordinary straightforward runs.
