BENSPORT GEARBOX.
OVERHANG OF 2nd. SPEED SLIDER.

We thank you for BY4/C31132, in which you call attention to the excessive overhang of the 2nd. speed slider. This has come about owing to the modification made to simplify the assembly of the gearbox shown by N. sch. 3554.

To remedy this overhang we send herewith N. sch. 3559., which shows the 2nd. speed actuating shaft moved back to its original position, but it is now inserted in the box from below, as is done for the reverse actuating shaft.

To get room for the passage of the upper lever we have slightly modified the casing of the box.
