BENSPORT HAND BRAKE LEVER.

We deal herewith H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} sch. 758y, which shows the hand brake lever for this car.
We have not shown any means of making the floorboards gastight at the lever, and it may be that it will be necessary to protect the pawl operating rod from contact with the floorboards, by stamping a boss on the lever through which the rod will pass.
The spring operating on the pawl as shown should prevent rattles by taking up all slacks when the hand brake is off.
