THE NEW ENGINE. (20-HP).

With reference to Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s memo. Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}5/M22.5.26. please note we shall complete the new 20-HP. Engine and pass same to Test Department this afternoon.

It has been fitted with,-

Lapped Crankshaft.
Steel Main Bearings.
Special Pistons.
New type Connecting Rods complete with steel shell bearings.
Modified Oil Pump.

You will remember that Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} instructs that this engine is to be fitted into chassis 1644 which is going to run a 10,000 mile test in France, and that the engine is to be tested using the Delavel scheme of oil cleansing.
