RE - 20/25 HP. CONTINENTAL TOURING SALOON.

With reference to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}14/KW.26.1.31. we have requested WW. to let us have a scheme for the necessary brackets etc. to take Hartford Friction Shock Absorbers.

We have obtained from the Experimental Department their recommendations in regard to camber and buffer clearance for the special springs, and immediately you let us know the body weight we can get the springs ordered. These will take about three weeks to obtain from time of ordering, but before any promise can be made for delivery of the chassis or at any rate the special brackets for the shock dampers, it is necessary that we receive schemes from WW.

The three chassis could, of course, be built and delivered with the special road springs, and the shock absorber brackets fitted at the coachbuilders, although from our experience with the Continental type Phantom 11. this is an expensive matter.
