For the attention of Mr.S.H.Grylls.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 31st ult. in reply to ours of the 29th concerning the Hydrolift jack which has failed properly to operate due to the replenishment valve seating being defective.

We have noted your suggestions for the modification of the design to overcome any possibility of this trouble in future, and have taken due note of your recommendations.

We ourselves will go carefully into the proposition and will forward to you our ideas. Meanwhile we attach, hereto, a drawing showing the pump chamber of the jack which may be of some help to you.

We shall look forward to your further suggestions with interest, and remain at your service.

Yours faithfully,

For SMITH'S JACKING SYSTEMS LIMITED.
