Contd. -6- EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T2.11.21. and are requiring boxes slightly different in dimensions, which matter Mr. Bailey has in hand. The matter of Lucas batteries was also mentioned and it was stated that Messrs. Lucas had been given the dimensions, but nothing had been put in writing to them owing to Mr. Royce's remark that they should not be approached. There is no reason, however, why Messrs. Lucas should not on their own submit to us a battery and it was agreed at the Conference that if the rest of the equipment were Lucas, it would be a very desirable thing for the battery also to be of that make. Therefore, we think it would be to Lucas' advantage to submit to us a battery, but no decision was arranged that we should ask Lucas' so to do. EPC. | ||
