New dynamo received from the Works which was found to be saturated in oil and is being returned.

We have received today from Works per their advice note No.W.4210, one DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}1147 new type dynamo No.S.8. BTX, allocated to Chassis No.B.4.GA.
Upon examination before installation we found that the brush gear and armature of this machine is saturated in oil.
We thought that you would like to see this machine in the condition in which it was received. It is therefore being returned to you under cover of our advice note No.5060 for your examination.
