XC 819 I attach results of further tests by Mr Platford together with a note concerning Mr Spinney's modified scheme, for Mr Royce. I wish to remind you that I have not issued any instructions for cancelling the recently adopted scheme made by Mr Spinney of closed in dashboard, as stated in the minutes of the last meeting. I am not sure whether this is in accordance with your wishes. I shall be glad if you will advise me if we shall proceed as agreed at the last meeting, i.e. continue for the present with the new scheme of closed-in dashboard and ventilated engine guards, and in the meantime make further tests with the engine guards having a greater area of ventilation.
