22.5.12) E.P. 1898. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED, NIGHTINGALE ROAD, DERBY. TELEGRAMS: "ROYCAR," DERBY. TELEPHONES: 813 (TWO LINES). DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. This column is for Name of Person addressed. DATE. TBB 10-7-12 -2- recommends is not to adopt the closed in dashboard but to be satisfied for the present with the open dash and ventilated engine guards and to experiment with dashboard ventilators etc. Mr Royce's point is that by this scheme we gain some considerable advantage in obtaining a cooler radiator and we may obtain some advantage in the direction of cooler floorboards by the ventilated dashboard, although perhaps not quite so much as by filling in the dashboard.
