+ 2 - SUSPENSION. Rear of car is too soft, otherwise quite a good ride. This car is a very bad example of noisy road springs, when both rear springs decide to squeak the noise is most disturbing. MISCELLANEOUS. The footbrake pedal and clutch pedal are set two close together, consequently it is possible to operate both at the same time. Windscreen wiper and motor mechanism noisy. The type of horns fitted under radiator shell are not sufficiently penetrating and cannot be heard by driver of vehicle which is being overtaken. With regard to the Body, the interior finish is cheap against pre war Standard. The accommodation is very good inside the car, but they appear to have sacrificed the room space in the rear boot, the Hillman 10 HP. car in comparison is much larger. The body is bad for wind noise and draughts. The sliding roof rattles and the O.S. rear door rattles and creaks. The worst features of the car are the amount of induction roar, Exhaust Booms, Road Spring squeaks and inefficient Brakes. SPECIFICATION.
