Mr Nadin 19/2/12.

TBB3/1.19212.

I send you herewith rough draw-
ings of a self starter, submitted by
one of our customers drivers named
Hacking. I am sending this to you
in order that you may place it before
Mr Royce, because although I do not
think we should adopt the scheme for
reasons to be stated, yet the scheme
is workable, and I think we should have
Mr Royce's decision on the matter.

The disadvantages of the scheme
are :-

1. considerable increase in length
of engine.

2. additional working parts which
will add to the vibration of
the engine, unless further compli-
cation in the way of clutch be
fitted.
