X543 Mr Nadin 19/2/12. TBB3/1.19212. I send you herewith rough draw- ings of a self starter, submitted by one of our customers drivers named Hacking. I am sending this to you in order that you may place it before Mr Royce, because although I do not think we should adopt the scheme for reasons to be stated, yet the scheme is workable, and I think we should have Mr Royce's decision on the matter. The disadvantages of the scheme are :- 1. considerable increase in length of engine. 2. additional working parts which will add to the vibration of the engine, unless further compli- cation in the way of clutch be fitted. | ||
