| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X254 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.11/KW.29.10.35. Exhaust Valves. Heron, who was here recently, said that amongst steels with a low coefficient of expansion, Firth-Vickers Stainless and S.80 were better than Silchrome for exhaust valves, provided they were stellited. S.80 has a higher max. strength than the other, so will you please make us 3 sets of Bentley exhaust valves of this material, to EB.2677, stellited on the face.
