Conference on June 2nd 1941, we have reviewed the Myth Specification, and suggest that the work required to complete the Myth Chassis could, subject to your approval, be done as follows :- 1. The engine can be taken as a complete unit. HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} has this work in hand. 2. The gearbox and Flywheel & Clutch. The clutch is supplied by Borg & Beck. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. have this in hand. The Gearbox, is a Morris 8. The clutch casing diaphragm and clutch operation, we suggest, will have to be done by HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} The rear engine mounting is the same as the Morris 8. Park Ward will produce the engine crossmember for us. 3. The hand brake and operation by HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 4. Propellor Shaft. Hardy Spicer. 5. Rear Axle Salisbury. HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} will do the necessary extra parts to obtain the correct track. 6. Front & Rear Brakes and Master Cylinder. Lockheeds will supply these and HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} the carrier plates. 7. Front & Rear Hubs. HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 8. Frame. Park Wards. 9. Front & Rear bumpers - Wilmot Breedon. Mounting Brackets - Park Ward. 10. Rear Spring. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. will obtain rear springs fittings by HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 11. Front Suspension. Front Pan by Park Wards. Suspension Levers.
