HYDRAULIC SHOCK DAMPERS.

Referring to your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG14926., we are sorry that we do not appreciate the point complained of. On N. sch. 2262., we have shewn the damper approximately 1.150 past the normal free position of the spring, and there is still margin, in fact in these respects we have not materially altered the damper arrangement since the first scheme. If there is something we are overlooking we shall be much obliged if you would send us your further remarks.
