WRAITH AND B.III RADIATOR
BOTTOM TANKS & MATRIX UNITS.

Further to our Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.2/MH.{M. Huckerby}19.2.38, Messrs. Marston have now given Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. precise figures for the Wraith and B.III bottom tanks complete with fittings.

These are as follows :-

(1) Wraith.

Bottom tank EW.1620 fitted with support brackets and bolts welded to same (bolts to be supplied by us) .................. 3/4½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

Outlet pipe EW.1632 complete with cap EB.3626 including fitting to bottom tank. 1/9½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

(2) B.III.

The same figures exactly will apply to B.III pieces.

Tool Cost.

(1) Tool cost for supplying both Wraith and B.III tanks as above ................. £67.0.0d.

(2) Tool cost for supplying outlet pipes for Wraith and B.III as above ........ £8.10.0d.

We therefore recommend that these tanks and fittings are ordered from Messrs. Marstons immediately, in fact, that the matrix fitted with tank should be ordered as a complete unit.

Since we can apparently make and fit the outlet pipe more cheaply in these works, we think that this piece should be fitted here, after the complete units are received from Marstons. The cost of making and fitting this outlet, however, should be carefully checked before deciding on this.
