For the attention of Mr. Brooks.

Dear Sir,

We have run a set of your Aerolite pistons on one of our test bed units. One of the pistons seized after 10 minutes running at 4250 R.P.M. The others appear to be bedding on the side of the piston as well as on the thrust faces.

Could you come up to Derby and look at them to see whether you think the form of grinding should be altered.
