re Dunlop Tyres.
----------------

The Dunlop Rubber Company recently produced for our inspection a new Magnum Treaded 895 x 135 tyre with a cord casing which they have recently introduced.

They claim that the air capacity of this tyre is equal to that of the present 895 x 150 Oversize tyre but that the tread is no wider than the old 895 x 135 tyre. This last fact enables the new tyre to be fitted to front wheels without detriment to the steering.

The Dunlop Company are very anxious that we should adopt the new cord tyre as Standard. Will you please let us know if you have had an opportunity of testing it and if so favour us with your report.
