DETROIT, Michigan.

Dear Olley,

Many thanks for your serial No.178. The United States are indeed helping us in our struggle for freedom. Possibly one day they may reap unexpected and most undesirable results from their present attitude.

As you by now know, three of our people will reach America before you get this letter, and they should clear up your missing drawings etc.

In your search for people capable of manufacturing gun pieces, we recommend that you should contact the British Shoe Machinery Co., Beverley, Massachusetts. This company is associated with a similar firm in England, who are helping us tremendously on the more difficult pieces.

Yours sincerely,
