158 EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}11/JH. 14th June, 1939. Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman, Minerva Road, Willesden, LONDON.N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Whitelock. Dear Sirs, You will recall that some time ago our Mr. Edwards visited you with the object of finding out about Harrison Power Defrosters, and you very kindly lent him a sample to try. We have had this instrument on a car, and we find its performance very satisfactory from the demisting and defrosting point of view, but unfortunately it is inclined to be noisy, as indeed might only be expected. It has now been removed from the car, and we are sending it back to you under separate cover and should like to express our appreciation of your kindness in lending us this job for so long. Trusting that if we can reciprocate in any way you will not hesitate to let us know. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
