30-G-VII SHOCK DAMPERS.

With reference to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E26739, the rear shock dampers on the car running in France are of standard type. The front are of a new design. They are similar, however, to those which ran 50,000 miles on 8.B.V. The trouble at present being experienced is due to dirt in the Shock Absorber. This is partly a manufacturing problem, and is being taken up energetic-ally.

We are not having a lot of trouble on these dampers on experimental cars at Derby.
