666a S/W To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 30.G.7. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E26739 Referring to the report of the 21st, I should be interested to know whether the damper in question is standard or something new. The chief reason I ask is that I see it refers to 'hardened seats are being standardised' and if, therefore, they are our usual type of damper, I was wondering what this really meant as both his car and the Bentley seem to be having trouble with their dampers, whereas in the ordinary way in the hands of customers I thought we were fairly free from this now.
