To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} V340 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.20/KW.25.6.36. Phantom III Cooling Tests. In order to facilitate the test which we wish to make on Ph.III radiators, and also to simplify the work on the radiator cowls which you are making for us, we think it would be best if we had a radiator, for radiator tests alone. W. Smith is at present building up a matrix, top and bottom tank unit for us - if you could have this made into a complete radiator, with yoke, shell, lamps brackets etc., but less shutters and controls, the cowling could be made to fit this radiator, which could be fitted to the test car complete.
